We are back again this summer with our Summer Conversation Series! Our goal is to hit up as many educators as we can and share their response to a single summer question.
Last year we asked all our guests a question about an external goal for education. “What’s one thing you want to change about education?” This year though we are going with a more internal and reflective question. “What is one thing you want to change about yourself to be a better educator, leader, or colleague?”
On this episode, Mike sits down with EduMatch Publishing Author, Carly Spina. They chat about education, her book, Moving Beyond for Multi-Lingual Learners, and her answer to our summer conversation series question. Carly served as an English Language Learner teacher, a dual language classroom teacher, and a multi-language instructional coach in the Chicago area. She currently works for a non-profit, the Illinois Resource Center helping to serve multilingual education students and educators.
