Clear Skies
Self-reflection is such a powerful tool. For us to live better lives, to make an impact on others, and to help transform this world to become a better place for everyone, we must practice self-reflection. We need to look at who we are, who we know we should be, what impact we can make, and how to get there.
For any change to take place in this world, to reverse the wrongs, the injustices that have taken place, the hurt that has been thrust upon others unwillingly, change must take place. That change must begin, for all of us, in the same place, yet beginning with someone different.
Change begins with you, change begins with me. If we want to experience this world as we know it should be, not how it currently is, we need to begin making change with the Man or Woman in the Mirror.
Every goal we want to accomplish. Every record we want to break. Every other live we want to influence and improve, must begin with us. We all need to look and evaluate what our true goals are; personal, professional, and global. Then, after we are tied to and bonded to what we want to experience and accomplish, we need to look in the mirror. Make sure that when you look in the mirror it’s not directly after a shower, you want a clean, reflective slate. Plant your hands on the vanity counter, close your eyes, take six deep breaths, and then look at yourself.
Are your actions reflecting what needs to be done to live the life you want?
Are your words reflecting the positive change you want to see in others?
Are your thoughts those that help others or selfish to get you ahead?
To be a catalyst for change in others, in the world, we all need to begin with ourselves.
